Even for those of us who have lived in Wilkes for most of our lives and know it like the back of our hand we often find ourselves at a loss for what to do on our days off (for example this long Holiday weekend.) It’s easy to waste a day away lounging in front of the T.V. and catching up on projects around the house. Change it up this weekend and explore “your own backyard!” Here are a few places and events in Downtown North Wilkesboro that you should add to your plans:

FullSizeRender 3Hero Clash Collectibles –  The only place in Wilkes to play your favorite childhood arcade game, Galaga! Take a walk around and browse through comics, sports cards, action figures and more! Plus! Hero Clash hosts events like Free Comic Book Day, Wrestling autograph signings, and Madden Tournaments. (For info on upcoming events and deals, follow us on Facebook!)
